Three Birds on a Branch – Reclaimed Wood Sculpture

A unique and elegant celebration of nature and sustainability, this handcrafted sculpture features three stylised birds perched gracefully on a gently curved silver-painted branch.

Each bird is laser-cut from reclaimed Douglas Fir offcuts and painted in soft metallic tones — gold, silver, and cream — adding a gentle shimmer and contrast. Their delicate legs are made from repurposed copper wire, salvaged from an old motor, subtly nodding to the beauty of reuse and resourcefulness.

The branch, collected from my own garden and painted silver, brings a contemporary finish while maintaining its natural form — a striking blend of organic texture and modern tone.
